MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

When your application is approved, you will be informed and can begin
taking part in the neutering program. This form is for MEMBERS only,
that is, those who live in the following areas:   Glyfada, Voula, Vari,
Vouliagmena, Varkiza, Elliniko, Alimos, Palio Faliron, (these members
can neuter up to 18 stray animals yearly); those in other municipalities
in Attika (these members can neuter up to 12 stray animals yearly).

SPAZ vets run private practices in addition to the work they do for
SPAZ so
you must phone for an appointment and mention that you
are a SPAZ member.

Members are responsible for looking after the animal after the
surgery
has been completed.  Males can usually be released the
same day;  it is better to keep the females a day or so before
releasing.  Make sure you ask the vet about antibiotics given to the
animal and whether you need to give more.

When your application is

program. This form is for
MEMBERS only, that is,

following areas:   Glyfada,
Voula, Vari, Vouliagmena,

Palio Faliron, (these
members can neuter up to

those in other
municipalities in Attika
(these members can neuter
up to 12 stray animals
yearly).

If you live in another area,
you can become a
supporter of SPAZ  (with
our sincere thanks) rather
than a member.  The
demands for our neutering
program exploded in 2010
and as a result SPAZ
needs to clarify the
situation.

Members have the privilege
of neutering stray animals
at a special rate with any of
our 6 vets; along with
participation in this program
comes the responsibility of
offering help in our fund-
raising projects. When a
member neuters a stray
animal, they pay 50% of
the vet’s fee; SPAZ pays
the other 50% and this
money must be raised
through memberships,
donations and events.

Supporters who live
outside of our area (listed
above), and their
donations, are much
needed to maintain our
help for the strays; they are
not eligible for the
neutering program,
however, nor are they
expected to work at our
events, although they are
very welcome if they
choose to.

SPAZ  is YOU – members
and supporters.
